Have you all heard of black garlic? Today, I would like to introduce black garlic, another latest spice for the chefs. haha!


The product was developed by Scott Kim in the year 2004 in South Korea.

Whats so good about black garlic?

According to some articles i read, black garlic has a very high level of antioxidants and nature cancer-preventing compound.

DRy Cleaning

What is dry cleaning?

It's a process that cleans clothes without water. The cleaning fluid that is used is a liquid, and all garments are immersed and cleaned in a liquid solvent -- the fact that there is no water is why the process is called "dry''. The solvent that they used are actually organic solvent.

History about dry cleaning

Early times --> After world war 1 -- > After world war 2 -- > Modern

Used petroleum based solvent --> chlorine type of solvent -- > tetrachloroethylene (perc) -- > glycol ethers, etc.

However, perc was also the first chemical to be classified as a carcinogen by the Consumer Product Safety Commission (a classification later withdrawn). In 1993 the California Air Resources Board (CARB) adopted an airborne toxic control measure (ATCM) to reduce perc emissions from dry cleaning operations. The dry cleaning industry is now beginning to replace perc with other chemicals and/or methods.

Since its a dangerous solvent, many other solvents are used to replace it. Those dry cleaners that are still using perc have to handle it properly.

Why dry cleaning is needed?

Dry cleaning is necessary for cleaning items which would otherwise be damaged by water and soap or detergent. Some stains and soil from fabrics or clothings are easier to remove through dry cleaning.

Happy birthday erdi. haha! Just got my laundry from the laundry shop. That's why I decided to write a little about this.

My sis took her GINGERBREAD man for cleaning. I think you all should know roughly how does the gingerbread man looks like. After the cleaning, her gingerbread man looks like POOH BEAR. haha!

I didnt mean the colour. Its the shape that makes it looks like pooh bear. Its some sort become a little rounder. And everything just went out of shape. Its quite funny. I tease her by saying it looks like her. haha! I wanted to take a picture of it but she doesnt allow me to do so.

Just imagine how it would look like. haha!

I am really happy that many people took the initiative to switch off the lights at 8.30pm. Me too. I switch off my house lights and went to gurney. HAHA! Smart. Its raining the whole one hour.

I saw some shops in gurney also do their little part in this worldwide program. They actually switch off their lights. I saw Nandos customers actually having their candle light dinner in the dark. Thats really romantic.

Anyway, kudos to those that actually took part in this.

I received a HAPPY news from my dar today.. Shes already an aunty d. haha! OLD LO. jkjk.. anyway, its a good news.

I think i nearly lost contact with some of my OLD OLD friends. haha! NOt to say you all are OLD (well actually we are), you all are the friends that I knew you all for long. SO i grouped you all as.. OLD OLD friends. one of them like jaslyn who are still in penang.. but never get A MESSAGE FROM HER AT ALL. i also didnt send message to her. HAHa..

PY.. seems like i didnt meet you all ever since dat day in school. And many many more friends. haha!! I still got chat with a few of my friends online like kj, ep, eli, sometimes sha if i met her, erdi, sit kueen (haha), dar, mel. Internet keeps us close. Thanks to the person who created this.. They are really great. Haha! I think its been a long time i never chat to shalyn also. SOB SOB.. WOnder how is she doing there. Still caught up by the worms??? haha!

ANd one more.. WHERES HOOI PENG??? ITS BEEN AGES I DIDNT MEET HER EVER SINCE FEB. MEMANG BUSY. haha!! I knew everyone is busy with their work. But hopefully some of you are free next month la. haha!!!

LAST day for APPLICATION

TOday is the last day that you decide your future life and your future path. Check up all your choices. Make last check. Then, leave the rest to GOD. PRAY HARD. Hopefully it will help at least a few percent of it. haha! Going to the Education Fair make me unsure about my choices. I had decided some of it. But i decided i will just leave it like that since i have made my choices.

UMS seems like a very beautiful campus. haha! I think it will be quite enjoyable staying in campus. I met some of my friends there too. And not to forget, my school teachers too. I left USM at 2.10pm. I waited for my mom for around 1 hour there. STanding like a gong lang there alone. SOB SOB! Haha! But my mom is quite busy with her stuff. Thanks god my mom reach one hour later and not 2 hours. haha! by then, I think she will have to visit me in the hospital. 'choi'

Its been a long time I didnt met up with my friends. I feel like sitting down and have a long long chat with them. But time doesnt allow me to do so. haha! Well, maybe next time. We better finish up our uni application first. SOmetimes, I do also lazy to chat with people and wouldnt want to meet with people.

ANyway, Decide well everyone. Your future partly lies on you. haha!

Cheng Beng COming

This morning I went for cheng beng already. Its a bit too early though. Unexpectedly, there's people cheng beng also. haha! Glad that no need to pack with people. And the weather its so hot today. haha!

Finalising my choices. Doouble check with all my choices. And the cgpa also. I am really afraid that I made the wrong choices. haha! Pray HArd..

Today is White Valentines Day. And also, my dar bday. haha!! Happy bday dar! haha!!

Ytd, I received a call from someone. The conversation Goes like that:

SOmeone: Hi, its me. SO, hows your result?
Me: Ok la. (then, i told her my result)

Her next question put me in a shocking situation.

Someone: So, when are you getting married?

I paused a while and start to process in my brain. I thought I heard wrongly.

Me: SOrry. What did you just said?
SOmeone: When are you getting married?

So, I confirmed her question and I laughed. haha! WHat makes her think so?

Me: where got? Who told you that?
Someone: There's rumours saying so.

At that moment, I really feel curious. WHo is the fellow that spread this? I am just too young to get married. Haha! Anyway, I dont blame her. JUst have to blame the person that spread this. Anyway, thanks for asking. At least , I know what is really happening.

I think some of us are still blur case and dont know what to do. Here is how I make my decision. Maybe you all can take it as reference only. MIght not be very good as i am not the PRo. haha!

1) Check out the courses in this website http://www.quansheng.org/jifen270209/ji%20fen%20biao/PREVIOUS%20YEAR.pdf . The CGPA is only for reference. Then, you choose those courses that you like and at the same time, it suits your CGPA.

2) Go to https://upu.mohe.gov.my/portal_bpkp/epanduan/syarat/syarat.php to check the minimum requirements. For those science stream that wanted to take arts subject, you can also check here. And for those bio students that want to take physics course, you also check this website.

3) Eliminate those that you think you cant really get in. Then, find your school counsellor for more advice in arranging the choices. Make sure you choose the course because that you are interested. I think that is very important. Check out about the content of the courses and seek for more advices. BUT DECISION IS STILL IN YOUR HANDS. DONT BE EASILY AFFECTED BY OTHERS.

For those that got quite low cgpa, I think you all should try to apply for UNi too since you all bought the code already. But then, choose the ones that are suitable for you CGPA. ALso, make sure that you think of other routes like going to MAktab perguruan, private university or even being a nurse for those that interested. I believe everyone will find a place that suits yourself. So, you need to walk out your own route.

Dont freak out. Do more research. Ask for more informations. Everyone will definately have a chance to pursue their studies. It only depends whether you want it or not. So, GOOD LUCK everyone.

First, I would like to congrats miss PY, CEP, KJ, DEN and mr.BK.. and the rest of my friends from my school that score EXCELLENt RESULTS. Haha! I am happy for you all.

Overall, the year 2008 result has drop 15% compared to year 2007. That is what I heard from my dad that he heard it from the news. haha!!

About me: Bye BYe MEDICINE and BYE BYE PHARMACY. I was quite upset though. But, I cant do anything now. THe most important thing is I get to enter uni. I can only blame myself for being not hardworking enough. It maybe the message from God that I shouldnt be so playful anymore. I will promise myself that I am going to work harder when I am in Uni. NO more JOKES. NO more entertainment. I should be thankful that i get better result than my Trial. Anyway, thanks teachers and friends for guiding me all the way. The support from you all makes me tougher and dares to accept challenges. Thanks to all that concern about me. I appreciate that a lot.

For my friends that may in the same situation like me: Wake up people. Yes, its saddening. But, Thats not the time to feel sad anymore. Is everyone ready for tmr? haha!! So soon, the day is going to be here. It was just like yesterday I received the news that the result is coming out. And now, the big day is just tmr. Well well, to make sure I dont think too much, I kept myself busy with all sorts of things. haha!! At the moment, I am quite nervous about it. THough I know that it is pointless to do anything now, I still do feel uneasy.

Anyway, I just hope that this year result is good. ahaa! Good luck to all my friends tmr. Hope that all of us get the result we hoped for and even better than what we hoped for.
